The Group Arseneault emerged from the group ‘La Famille Arseneault‘. This group which was a family unit of three generations of musicians had been nominated in 2007 for an ECMA award (East Coast Music Award) for their album ‘Ça Swing Encore' and then again in 2009 for ‘Un Bouilli Acadien'. After ten years of performing, ‘La Famille Arseneault' decided it was the end of the road. In 2010, six original members of the group then decided to continue on this amazing journey joining forces with Freedo (cousin Michael Frigault) thus emerging ‘Arseneault'. Seven multi instrumental musicians, singers, songwriters, dancers and comedians that with their combined experience, promise that their Acadian culture will remain alive and they will continue to share their Acadian roots as they have in the past throughout Atlantic Canada, parts of the United States and Quebec. In the summer of 2010 ‘Arseneault' revamped sound and fully energized returned to the stages performing their ‘Kitchen Party' shows for cultural events, festivals and corporate events with a highlight performance in Quebec sharing the stage with Zachary Richard.
